Tuition & Fees 2024-2025

Our goal is to make quality Christian education affordable. However, with significant increase in inflation and its impact on the overall expense of operation, we will once again need to raise rates by $25 per month for the 2023-2024 school year. For students in Grades 1 to 8, the increase will fall into the charitable donation portion of the tuition so that the after-tax cost will be considerably less than $25 per month for all families. For kindergarten students, the increase will qualify as child care expense so that the after-tax cost will be considerably less for families with two working parents. We will continue the discount for the second and third student in the family and will continue to include the cost of workbooks in the tuition.

For new students registering for the first time, we require a currently-dated cheque at the time of registration equivalent to one month’s installment for each child in order to hold the placement(s) for you. (To register for September, 2023 your deposit cheque would be $850 for one child; $1,550 for two children; $2,150 for 3 children). This deposit cheque will be cashed only upon acceptance of your application. If we accept your application, you will be notified by email or mail. You then have ten days in which to deliver the tuition (the full amount, less the 2% discount, or 12 post-dated cheques) to the Academy.
Once we accept the registration, the deposit becomes non-refundable because it confirms a contractual relationship based on which the Academy, in turn, enters into contracts for teachers, accommodations and books for the coming year.

Mission Statement

Richmond Hill Christian Academy exists to bring honour to the Lord Jesus Christ, and to make Him known to a generation of children who have little opportunity to learn of His great love for them.
It purposes to meet the need today for a Christ-centred education with a clear, biblical world view.
It is our intention, in dependence upon God, to model and teach Christian values, to support parents in the challenging task of raising good children, and to help provide mature, responsible, godly leadership for the future of our country.
In all of this, we will help every child to be excellent in body, mind, and spirit.
